HOW DO I BOOK?
Newborn Sessions are booked in before little one arrives with your due date. We can then amend the session date if needed after little ones arrival. Ideally babies are booked in between 4 and 21 days.
CAN I CHOOSE COLOURS AND PROPS?
Of course! Once little one is here we’ll talk through your favourite poses, colours & props. This enables me to style your newborn session for you. All the outfits, props & little headbands & hats are all provided. You just bring little one & their usual items on the day.
CAN I HAVE SIBLING AND FAMILY SHOTS?
Yes, these are encouraged. Siblings are welcome at the start or end of the session for their photographs but as the session can be very long, around 4 hours, they do tend to get bored and hot so it is best if they only stay for part of the session. I recommend bringing them in something neutral with minimum logos/patterns. Most come in a plain white top or shirt with cream/grey pants, plain dresses. The aim is that the images are timeless, classic & the focus is on the children’s connection together.
Please note this is not possible on the Newborn Mini Sessions.
WHY DOES A NEWBORN SESSION TAKE SO LONG?
Everything during the session is baby-led. I take time to allow for settling, feeding, changing and cuddling throughout the session. Then when baby is sleepy I can start slowly and gently baby, nothing is rushed.
